The word lists in Word Unscrambler are built from these freely licensed sources. Thank you to everyone who maintains them.
Each list keeps the words that appear in a large collection of film and TV subtitles and are also accepted by that language's open-source spell-checking dictionary.
Words, kana readings and English meanings come from JMdict, the property of the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group, used in conformance with the Group's licence (CC BY-SA 4.0), via jmdict-simplified. Only words marked as common are included.
Words, idioms, pinyin and English meanings come from CC-CEDICT, published by MDBG and licensed CC BY-SA 4.0.
The word list files at /words/ are shared under the same terms as their sources: CC BY-SA 4.0 together with the licence of the dictionary named above for that language.
Bricolage Grotesque (The Bricolage Grotesque Project Authors) and Atkinson Hyperlegible (Braille Institute of America), both under the SIL Open Font License 1.1: Bricolage Grotesque licence, Atkinson Hyperlegible licence.
